A fashion campaign shot at one of India's most dramatic waterfall locations.
The Brief
A Goa-based independent clothing label wanted a campaign for their monsoon collection that captured the energy and visual intensity of the season. They wanted location photography that no studio could replicate.
Our Approach
Shooting near a large waterfall requires dealing with constant spray, variable light caused by the mist, and a very limited window of access. We waterproofed our primary camera bodies and used a single prime lens throughout to limit the number of elements exposed to moisture. The mist from the falls created a natural softbox effect in the mid-distance that complemented the flowing fabric of the garments.
The Outcome
The campaign ran across the brand's social channels and resulted in their highest-engagement season to date. Two images from the shoot were selected for a national press feature on emerging Indian fashion labels.
