A product campaign built around the reflective properties of handblown glass and still water.
The Brief
An artisan glassware brand wanted a campaign that emphasised the handmade quality and optical properties of their pieces — specifically the way light refracts through and reflects off handblown glass. They wanted natural environments, not controlled studio conditions.
Our Approach
We identified Ooty's botanical lake in early morning as the location — the still water surface at dawn created a natural reflective plane that doubled the visual complexity of each frame. Products were mounted on custom acrylic stands positioned at the water's edge. We shot during a thirty-minute window each morning for three consecutive days to capture the precise quality of light we needed.
The Outcome
The campaign produced 28 hero images and 60 supporting frames used across e-commerce, packaging, and retail displays. The brand reported a significant increase in online conversion rate in the quarter following the campaign launch.
