A destination wedding across four days and six locations in Paris, in late autumn.
The Brief
Vikram and Ananya chose Paris in November for their intimate destination wedding — forty guests, four days of celebrations across six locations, and a brief that specifically requested photography that felt European rather than conventionally Indian-wedding in its aesthetic.
Our Approach
November in Paris means short days and flat, overcast light — conditions that many photographers avoid but that we find ideal for portraiture. The diffused grey light of the season eliminated harsh shadows and created a painterly, even quality across every location. We planned each day's shooting around the available light window and supplemented with a single bounce flash for indoor receptions.
The Outcome
The final gallery of 480 edited images was delivered in three weeks. A curated selection of 90 images was printed in a large-format album. The couple's wedding photographs were featured in two destination wedding publications.
